After attending the PGA at Whistling Straits, I wanted to say thank you for making it an unforgettable weekend. We followed you the 3rd and 4th round and saw some amazing shots. You have been my favorite player since your first U.S. Open win and I was truly amazed to see you in person for the first time. Thanks again for being the coolest player out there and hope to see you again soon in the U.S.

Great rounds this weekend Goose. Sure wish I could have seen at least one shot today but the cameras were with the leaders. Looking forward to seeing you at St. George's this week. So close last year, so close. Nice eagle on 18 to head to playoff. Good luck and may you be the one hoisting it Sunday!!!

Hello Retief, Just followed your opening round at The Open Championship. You hit the ball beautifully off the tee and made some important putts today. Wishing you all the best for Round 2 and looking forward to you lifting that Claret Jug on Sunday! Best of luck - hope the weather is kind to you!

Dear Mr. Goosen: I was at the Travelers Championship in CT on the final day of the tournament. I believe it was your second shot on the second hole on Sunday that landed on my blanket. You decided to hit the shot from the blanket which was quite a thrill and one heck of a shot! I've been watching golf with my dad (until he passed away three years ago) for about fifty years now, and I have NEVER seen a ball land on a blanket before. Was this your first shot off of a blanket??? Again, it was quite a thrill and quite a shame that no media was on hand to capture the shot for posterity! Many thanks for such a wonderful memory. My dad would have loved it! Sincerely, Laurie Wasilewski.

Way to go Retief! Excellent round today. A scorecard with no fives is always nice to see. Keep up the strong play!

It's yours for the taking this week Goose and I have a feeling you know that you can hoist that trophy Sunday. Best of luck although you don't need it with your great swing and putting improvement. Bring it home!!
